I first heard of them: on Addicted to Noise, a music web site back in the day
Sound: Sort of a '90s British version of the Go-Go's. The fact that Britain's big cultural export of 1997 was the Spice Girls and not Kenickie shows that there is something seriously wrong with our trade agreements.
Further listening: Kenickie only had two albums, and it took many years before I was able to get my hands on the second one. Even so, they made plenty of good songs, virtually none of which are available online. Here's one of the very few that are:
