From: Washington, D.C.

Active: 1994-1998

I first heard of them: I do not recall this piece of information

Sound: Pretty similar to Veruca Salt: two female singer-guitarist-songwriters, male rhythm section. (The talent level is less imbalanced on the Tuscadero roster, however.) Much of their first album is pretty awful, with songs that are just lists (seriously, there's one called "Game Song" which lists a bunch of games, and one called "Candy Song" that lists a bunch of candy bars), but their second one is very good, if lyrically still kind of juvenile.

Listening station: Let me show you! Here are a few songs from that second album, My Way or the Highway:

"Dr. Doom" (1998)
"Liquid Center" (1998)
"Queen for a Day" (1998)
