NEW YORK (AP) -- A woman upset that she bought the video game
"Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" for her 14-year-old grandson
without knowing it contained hidden, sexually explicit scenes
sued the manufacturer Wednesday on behalf of consumers nationwide.

But apparently she had no problem with the idea of buying her grandson
a video game that contained grand theft auto.
It makes sense, though. I mean, kids take a lot of their behavioral
cues from video games. Thanks to these hidden scenes, this guy might
end up having sex with his girlfriend some night instead of spending
the evening with his buddies engaging in wholesome pursuits like
carjacking.
I myself had a close call with something like this. I was about to
buy my own grandson a copy of Aggravated Assault Gold Edition when
I heard on the news that if you downloaded and installed some extra
software you could unlock a scene that had a nipple in it. And on a
lady, too! Well, you'd better believe I left that one on the rack. I
bought him a nice safe copy of Heroin Smuggler 3 and wrote a
sternly-worded letter to my congressman.
All kidding aside, though, I can see why people are freaking out
over this Hot Coffee thing. I saw a video clip and those polygon
meshes are awful.
