In the mid-’90s, James Iha and D’arcy Wretzky of the
Smashing Pumpkins tried their hands at starting their own record
label, and Fulflej was their flagship signing.
James said he didn’t see any reason why Fulflej shouldn’t
become as successful as the Pumpkins themselves, and there is some
overlap in their sound.
